Fashionchick Blogger Christmas Party with Boohoo & Dorothy Perkins (+ Haul!)*

Last week I was lucky enough to attend a really fun event throw for us Manchester bloggers by online fashion search and comparison site, Fashionchick (think ASOS but even bigger with even more brands!) This was run in conjunction with Dorothy Perkins and Boohoo.com, but there was also plenty of beauty action...

It was a lovely evening and I got to catch up again with some of my favourite Manchester bloggers including Ellie from Life of Ellie Grace, Nisha from How I Wear, Amy from Amy Elizabeth Fashion, Maria from Maria Cruz's World and Emma from What Emma Did. There were loads of beautiful clothes that some lucky people won as well as stands where we could chat to the PR people for each brand.

You could also get your hair, makeup and nails done by one of the professionals. I had a golden-bronzed look and I actually really loved it (and made note of all the products!) I think this was probably the first time I'd ever liked how someone else had done my makeup!

Dorothy Perkins has some beautiful fur coats in this season - as modelled by me below (haha) and Boohoo is really bringing it with the affordable party dresses!

So, onto my little haul! I must admit I was very impressed with the goodie bags*! Fashionchick gave us a cute little cookie and an iPhone cover (which is very appropriate for me!) I actually ended up with two because I thought I didn't have one after looking in the wrong bag so asked for another - sorry Fashionchick! However I've popped it into a little giveaway you can enter here. Dorothy Perkins gave us not only a quirky oversized clutch (with 'yes' on the front and 'no' on the back) and a pearl and gold-look necklace but also the most beautiful Burgundy fur stole. You may have spotted it on my Instagram but I was so happy as I'd been eyeing up an identical one in Miss Selfridge for the longest time. Boohoo gave us a gift card (I'll show you what I bought when I place my order) and a cosy bobble hat.

All in all it was a lovely night and I would definitely recommend trying out Fashion Chick as it makes life so much easier! Also make sure you have look at Boohoo and Dorothy Perkins as they have some lovely stuff in this season!

Let me know what you think of winter fashion and the stuff I've shown you in the comments :)
